Have you ever had your stomach in knots out of worry for your business?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Your gut just churns with fear…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Fear of\u00a0failure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Fear of\u00a0success.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Fear of the\u00a0unexpected.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Last night, my stomach was in knots. \u00a0I lay awake in bed, staring at the ceiling and thinking of all the things I\u00a0need<\/i>\u00a0to do for the\u00a0Biz Women Rock podcast<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>and community. \u00a0Things I want to be more on top of, things I want to roll out for you that you would get a lot out of, that I just haven’t done yet!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As the items ran through my mind like the post-movie credits of Star Wars, my chest got heavier and heavier.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I finally had to take some deep breaths and relax by telling myself there was nothing I could do about it in that moment.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What has given you the business sweats lately?<\/i><\/span><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

I realize that these gut-wrenching moments are a uniquely entrepreneurial experience. \u00a0Something that only those who have dared to step out into the vast and scary world of business have the privilege of experiencing.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The PRIVILEGE? \u00a0Are you crazy, Katie? \u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Yes, the\u00a0privilege!<\/i><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You see, there are days I want to give it all up (shhhh…that’s not a popular thing to say). \u00a0I have flashes of literally up\u00a0and leaving my life, my business…everything and escaping to\u00a0the simple life on a beach or an Italian village somewhere. \u00a0A place where I could have little to no responsibilities and \u00a0enjoy life. \u00a0And never have to feel that horrible pain in my stomach again.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Every time I think of this, my shoulders soften and a slow smile spreads across my face. \u00a0How glorious that would be!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But then, I remember…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

That would be the easy road. \u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

To have no responsibilities, to have no agenda, to have no worries…that would mean that I have no opportunity to make a difference. \u00a0No chance to impact and play big!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And playing BIG and IMPACTING lives is what I was put on this earth to do!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Why are you here? \u00a0What is your purpose??<\/i><\/span><\/h2>\n

\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

So, as nice as it is to mentally escape to a simple paradise, I am thankful for the pit of my stomach being uneasy.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Because it reminds me that I’m not done evolving.\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

That I’m not done learning.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

That I’m not done experiencing all the great things I want for my life!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You and I have decided to take the road less traveled…\u00a0and I promise you…it\u00a0does<\/span>\u00a0make all the difference!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
