So when we heard there was an easy train that would take us from DFW airport to right in front of the Omni, we figured we’d have an adventure and do it!<\/p>\n

It’s a great way to travel if you’re…<\/p>\n

1. Not overwhelmed by multiple travel stops.<\/p>\n

2. On a budget (it’s just $1.25 per person)<\/p>\n

3. Have the time.<\/p>\n

If not, get an Uber or Lyft.<\/p>\n

First, check out the train schedule and see how it lines up with your flight.<\/p>\n

The TRE Train Schedule<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to take the train (the TRE) from DFW Airport to just blocks away from the Omni Resort!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Note: if you are confused at any time, just keep asking others how to get to the TRE that will take you to downtown Fort Worth. \u00a0Everyone was\u00a0super helpful!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1. From the baggage claim area,\u00a0go one floor down. \u00a0Follow the signs to the TRE (this stands for the Trinity Railway Express).<\/p>\n

2. Go outside to the curb. \u00a0Go to the YELLOW REMOTE<\/strong> bus area.<\/p>\n

3. Take the Yellow REMOTE bus SOUTH<\/strong>. \u00a0(see the sign on the top of the bus pictured below).<\/p>\n

4. This bus will drop you off at a station. \u00a0Get off. \u00a0You’ll transfer over onto another bus that will take you to the Trinity Railway Express (our bus driver was super helpful in telling us where to go and what bus number it would be).<\/p>\n

This was the bus we got onto at the midway station. \u00a0You can see the sign says “Trinity Rail.”\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Note: From this midway station, the bus ride will take 12-15 minutes to get to the TRE station. \u00a0A bus TO the TRE Station comes every 15-20 minutes. \u00a0This timing is important because if the TRE train doesn’t leave until 3:50pm and you’re standing at the midway station at 2:00pm, you may want to consider staying at the midway station in the AC for awhile. \u00a0Otherwise, you’ll be waiting on the outside platform at the TRE Station for an hour (like we did).<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

5. The bus will drop you off at the Trinity Railway Express!<\/p>\n

6. You’ll be heading WESTBOUND to downtown Fort Worth.<\/p>\n

7. Purchase your ticket. \u00a0Here’s a quick video on how to do that cuz it’s a bit confusing.<\/p>\n

Tickets are $1.25 one way (which is all you need).<\/p>\n

Note: Tickets are good for 2 hours, so if you’re going to be waiting at the station a while, wait to purchase your tickets until closer to the time the train comes.\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
