When I reached out to Kirsten to feature her on this Mompreneur Series, I joked with her that the title of her episode would be <\/span>Five F*&#^@g Kids and a Business!<\/span><\/i> \u00a0Now, obviously, I changed the title to be a bit more appropriate, but that\u2019s pretty much what we\u2019re discussing in this interview. \u00a0Kirsten Oliphant is the owner of Create If Writing, a podcast and business that provides education and resources to writers, bloggers and entrepreneurs who want to build their online following and make money through their writing. \u00a0During our conversation, Kirsten shares about how her business now looks very different than what it did when she had her first kid and ultimately how her business evolved <\/span>because<\/span><\/i> of her growing family. \u00a0She then gives incredible, practical advice – hacks on how to best manage your time so you\u2019re the best mom <\/span>and<\/span><\/i> entrepreneur you can be! \u00a0From how to organize your schedule to local resources you can take advantage of! \u00a0And ultimately, we discuss finding your own place of peace in the ever-moving \u201cmompreneur equation\u201d we must all manage! \u00a0Kirsten is a wealth of information and gives great advice for how to do it all (and be okay with the fact that it\u2019s all a mess too!). \u00a0She <\/span>may<\/span><\/i> have convinced me to go for five kids\u2026 \ud83d\ude09<\/span>

Targeted Education.<\/b> \u00a0Because you\u2019re already on the entrepreneurial path (ie. you do not need the education to start<\/i> your business), you can focus 100% of your attention on the content that will help you GROW strategically. \u00a0Your job is to find reliable education that fits the needs of your growing company and fills in the gaps of your knowledge. \u00a0And because you\u2019re already busy running your business, it\u2019s vital that you spend your time in the most effective ways\u2026making sure that the education you\u2019re investing in is specific to the needs you have and the results you want to create.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Your Community of Like-Minded People. <\/b>There is no way I can ever express how important it is to surround yourself with the people who are like you \u2013 who believe in utilizing the vehicle of their businesses to make an impact on the world. \u00a0Who get juiced up from helping others. \u00a0Who believe they can live the life that they choose because of the freedom their business gives them. \u00a0Who don\u2019t mess around with \u201cI can\u2019t\u201d or \u201cit\u2019s too hard\u201d statements, but just get to ACTION. \u00a0Who want financial abundance and are driven to build their businesses because it allows them to live out a purpose! \u00a0Finding your community of like-minded people is what makes this journey FUN and EXCITING! \u00a0And true success is not possible without it!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
