How to Create a Movement with Michelle Mazur

Creating a movement is so much more than simply growing your business.  It means sharing your core message with the world in a way that inspires them to take up your torch and share that message with others.

Sound familiar?  These are Mel Robbins and Simon Sinek’s movements, respectively, and there is a very specific formula the most successful movement makers follow in order for it to be impactful, catchy, shareable and ultimately, for the movement to live beyond themselves.  

And Michelle Mazur has one of the most simple ways to do it well.  She is a woman who believes that communication can change the world.  After getting her PhD and teaching communication at the University of Hawaii, she went into corporate and found that she was spending a lot of her time crafting the high level Executives’ speeches and letters.  So, she went out on her own, coaching and training people to write speeches that actually made a difference…that created a movement.

But then at the end of 2017, she realized she was done with that conversation.  Done with teaching the how-to for speaking and getting booked to speak.  So, she pivoted and stumbled upon her next evolution…

Sharing her own message with all business owners on how they can create a movement every day in their businesses.  

Start with knowing your message.  In Michelle’s terms, this means finding your “3 word rebellion.”  And during this conversation, she gives some great examples on how to do that.  Then, show up and share that message powerfully, authentically and strategically.  Create a vision for the future that your community can live into with you. And, share small moment stories in your marketing to help it stick.
