WHEN TO SAY NO TO AN AMAZING BUSINESS STRATEGY

 

Yesterday I hosted a Master Class for my amazing Biz Women Rock Academy members (http://bizwomenrockacademy.com).

 

It was about Pinterest, a social media platform I rarely use.

 

The woman I brought on is an expert in using Pinterest to drive traffic, make sales and grow your email list.

 

And she ROCKED the Master Class! She gave so many amazing insights, strategies and ideas on how to use Pinterest powerfully.

 

And, just like every great teacher, she made it seem so simple. So simple and obvious, in fact, that I got completely inspired and motivated to jump into Pinterest immediately!

 

Have you ever been so inspired by someone else’s successful strategies that you immediately wanted to jump right into their method?

 

We all have.

 

But here’s the difference between those who experience RESULTS in their business and those who keep DOING:

 

They practice DISCERNMENT

 

The ability to judge well.

 

In business terms, that means being able to make decisions that are purposeful and in line with your big goals.

 

So even though I was a raving fan of Pinterest after this Master Class, I quickly reigned myself back in because taking action on that new strategy would divert my energy from the path that I am on. Like, big time!

 

So instead, I decided to put “Pinterest” on my Q3 ideas to implement so I could keep the path ahead of me clear and de cluttered from all the “bright, shiny objects!”

 

?? HOW ARE YOU PROGRESSING TOWARDS YOUR BIG GOALS SO FAR?

 

Take an honest look and if you’re not as far along as you thought you would be, I challenge you to be a bit more discerning about where you’re putting your time and energy.

 

Stay focused, my friend.

 

Because the path to true success is through the practice of intense FOCUS and purposeful execution.
