Every Wednesday we will be highlighting one business woman and her professional story!

Today we introduce you to Krayl Funch. Krayl has drawn inspiration from nature and her surroundings all of her life. After living overseas as a child and growing up in Stamford, Connecticut, earning a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics at the University of Delaware, she moved to New Hope, Pennsylvania, and developed a strong following in the community as a fine gardener and event stylist, honing her design aesthetic. A recent move to Tampa, Florida has added new appreciation for Southern hospitality and lifestyle.

In 2002, Krayl began working at Waterford Wedgwood, traveling the US speaking about tabletop design, entertaining and the value of quality products in our lives. During this time she developed a talent for designing store and stage displays for major national retail stores. In 2010, Krayl began An Appealing Plan, a lifestyle business & blog combining her passions for entertaining, design, gardening, DIY and travel. She is currently writing a book to inspire others  (you can back her kickstarter here), and show them that everyday can be a celebration of the season, of life, and that it doesn’t need to be stressful or complicated to be perfect. “On a daily basis it’s about designing welcoming entranceways, and beautifully set tables” she saids “but on a higher level being a Life Stylist is about creating products and services that allow women to create beautifully personalized environments and welcoming gatherings they love and feel confident about. Ultimately, reducing stress and giving them the time and freedom, to focus on other responsibilities such as career, family and friends.”

An entrepreneur with several businesses under her brand, she focuses on bringing beauty to our world through products and services such as: container gardening, home and event styling, social marketing for creative makers and seasonal decorating.
