A happy solopreneur for 10 years, Andrea Heuston finally made the move to build her own team to fulfill the demand for Artitudes Design. Engrossed in 15-16 hour days, she was forced to let go of her control freak nature when she almost died during a medical procedure that took her out of her business for 8 months. Her ability to delegate has allowed her company to grow to $1.7 million in revenue and be super involved in giving back to the community. She has also started up two new businesses that allow her to be creative. She is constantly challenging herself and shares with us her belief in a positive attitude.

When she first broke away as a contractor, Andrea was smart and contacted those with whom she used to work to see if the new companies they were with needed her services. One of those companies was MICROSOFT and she easily landed contracts there because she already had great relationships with the people! This action quickly built up her clientele!
A Control Freak No More
Andrea nearly died during a medical surgery which took her completely out of her business for 8 months. After spending years working ridiculous hours because she had to have her hand in all areas of her business, she was forced to learn how to give up control. She now has the attitude that every day is a good day and has learned to give her team the tools they need so she can let go and get out of her own way.
