BWR 122: Marion Gold: How to Run Two Completely Different Businesses Successfully
How do you become a Biz woman who ROCKS?
Listen to our Interview with Marion Gold of Moonbeams, Lilacs & Roses to find out!
Marion Gold has a long history as a writer and communications and marketing specialist. Her company Marion Gold Communications helps clients with their marketing strategies. But when her parents passed away, she stumbled upon a passion for beads and crafts and jewelry that has itself grown into a thriving business! Marion makes every piece custom made (no mass production here!) and Moonbeams, Lilacs & Roses continues to grow. In this inspiring interview, she shares how she’s managed to successfully build two completely different brands and why the Civic Center is her favorite spot in Scottsdale, Arizona!
Marion’s Kick-A$$ Quotes:
I have always felt that women in business need to take the opportunity to mentor women.
When you’re in business, you have to know what your skills are and what your skills aren’t.
I don’t do things for mass production…because I would lose something that’s important to me.
Marion’s Favorite 5:
1. Biz Book: Shoshana’s Song by Jerry Marcus (get a free audio of this book now!)
2. Business Tool: her growing website knowledge
3. An amethyst and charoite pendant
4. Place to eat in Scottsdale: Los Olivos
5. Arizona moment: at the Civic Center in Scottdale (listen for why!)
