I just watched a quick video interview of Gary Vaynerchuck, business builder and marketer extraordinaire (see his creds below).  The host asked him, “Gary, how do you keep your productivity level so high?” Gary replied, “my productivity is completely predicated on the gratitude of the things I’ve been gifted and I just can’t let all that good stuff down!” (Watch the brief clip here).

IT GOT ME THINKING ABOUT PRODUCTIVITY AND WHAT DRIVES IT FOR EACH OF US.

Less than 90 days ago, we decided to launch the first part of our global enterprise…the Business Women Rock! Podcast.  Since then, I’ve lived in a whirlwind of creating a new business…while simultaneously running a growing business.  I think my “laugh lines” (aka: wrinkles) have deepened just a bit after so many sleepless nights. J  But with every kick-a$$ woman I interview, I get more and more electricity running through me, excited for the lives these stories will inevitably touch!

When I was in college, my brother asked me what I wanted to do in life. I boldly responded with I want to inspire women all around the world! I knew I was meant to make a big impact. “I feel sorry for you,” he stated.  Why? “Because you’re setting yourself up for failure in a big way that’s going to hurt when you fall.” 

MY FIRE FOR IMPACTING IN A BIG WAY DIED IN THAT MOMENT.

More than a decade later, the fire is burning inside again and I stand on the precipice of a new endeavor that is ready to impact women AND men all over the world!  (and FYI, I have no ill-will towards my brother…we have very different ways of approaching the world at times!)

So what drives my productivity? A need, a desire, a tangible fire I have in my belly to make sure the world feels infused by the love I have to give.

With a full team next to me and an entire community who has raised their hands up, ready to support me, the Business Women Rock Podcast is going live on February 10^th and a rush of gratitude overlays my days.  It’s time to play big, folks.
